I'm Kevin Gilhooly, the webmaster of Planet Gilhooly. The original premise of the project was to display on a map all the Gilhooly family members I could locate - some have joined the family Yahoo group, some have signed the guestbook at www.gilhooly.org and some are my direct family members, so I know where they live!
If you would like to have you and yours added to the map, simply sign the guestbook at www.gilhooly.org or drop me an email at kjg@gilhooly.org and I can add you. At this point, there is no automated way to add yourself, and actually, you should be amazed that the map is working at all!
Originally, I was trying to see if there are concentrations of us in specific places around the world, but it looks like we're pretty spread out across the world. (OK, originally, I was just trying to see if I could get Google Maps to do something useful.)
Eventually, I will have birthplaces mapped here, as well, although I don't have that information for a lot of us. If you want to update your details, just drop me an email.
